Jaguar revives the legendary E-type: the style icon is back on the roads after half a century

Jaguar has breathed new life into its iconic model—the Jaguar E-type—which has returned to the market 50 years after production ended. This sports car, known for its elegant design and high performance, is not only the epitome of a classic car but also remains highly sought after by enthusiasts around the world. The new Jaguar Classic E-type Commemorative recreates the aesthetic of the original 1961 model, which Enzo Ferrari called “the most beautiful car of all time.”

The updated Jaguar E-type retains legendary features such as the long hood, smooth body lines, and the iconic shades of black and dark green borrowed from the 1974 farewell edition. Modern conveniences have been added for comfort: a heated windshield and a Bluetooth-enabled stereo, making the Jaguar Classic E-type relevant on 21st-century roads.

The new E-type Classic Commemorative is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the end of production, and only two units were produced, both of which have already been purchased by a collector from Southeast Asia. Prices have not been disclosed, but they clearly exceed $400,000, underscoring the car’s status and rarity.
