Manheim is an auction that is one of the largest marketplaces in America. It specializes in selling cars, motorcycles and other machinery. It's one of the three most popular US auctions, along with the IAAI and Copart auctions.

Registering on Manheim raises many questions. Unlike other well-known American car marketplaces, Manheim isn't available to all users. It's a closed auction, intended only for verified car dealers who have obtained an auction license.

Manheim's main advantages are:

• Excellent vehicle condition. It mainly sells used cars in good condition or completely new cars. This auction has no flood cars or cars with rolled-back mileage. Cars bought at Manheim often require no repairs or additional financial investment and are ready to use right away. However, damaged cars are also found at Manheim.
• Thorough inspection. Manheim admits a car to the auction only after inspection by highly qualified specialists, who provide an accurate report on the car's condition and real photographs.
• Safety. The possibility of buying a “pig in a poke” or a “dud” at this auction is practically zero.
• Savings. Buying an American car to order at Manheim will let you save up to 25% compared with prices on the Ukrainian market. The price at Manheim will be higher than at Copart or IAAI, but this is justified by the excellent condition of the cars.
• A huge selection. The auction features a wide range of different types of transport: cars, motorcycles, boats, ATVs, agricultural machinery and so on.

How to buy a car at Manheim?

Bidding at Manheim starts at 8 a.m. and takes place using a special Simulcast system in real time. A few minutes before the auction begins, a video broadcast is connected, showing the cars moving along a conveyor, which lets you assess the car's appearance once more. Selling one lot takes about 1 minute. The winner is the participant who offers the highest bid. Bidding can continue until 5 p.m.

Payment

Payment for a won car is made by SWIFT payment through a bank. The funds for the won car must be transferred on the day of the win before the office closes. After purchase, the vehicle cannot be declined or returned.

The buyer's fee is charged on a sliding scale from $150.00 to $350.00. Cars worth more than $9,000 are subject to a buyer's fee of 4.5%, but not exceeding $450. Everyone who registers will receive a copy of all potential fees.
