Бренд начал экспорт нового флагманского кроссовера BYD Tang L, который за пределами Китая получил название BYD Atto 8.
Модель сочетает премиальный комфорт, выдающуюся мощность и рекордный запас хода — более 1000 км.
BYD Tang L дебютировал за рубежом под именем Atto 8
Первые страны, куда начали поставлять кроссовер — Мексика и Узбекистан.
На этих рынках модель представлена под названием BYD Atto 8 и уже позиционируется как главный конкурент Toyota Highlander, Kia Sorento и BMW X5 Plug-In.
В Мексике стартовая цена BYD Atto 8 составляет от 1,2 миллиона песо (около $64 750).

BYD Tang L / Atto 8 — это просторный семиместный кроссовер длиной 5040 мм, шириной 1996 мм и высотой 1760 мм.

На экспорт модель пока поставляется в гибридной версии DM-P, сочетающей:

два электродвигателя
общую мощность — 480 л.с.
батарею ёмкостью 35,6 кВт∙ч
Эта система позволяет проехать 152 км на чистом электричестве, а общий запас хода — до 1030 км на одном баке и заряде.
Позже на рынок выйдут и чисто электрические версии с мощностью 777 и 1086 л.с.
Электромобиль с батареей 100,5 кВт∙ч обеспечивает дальность хода 550–670 км и поддерживает мегаваттную зарядку (1 МВт) — до 50% за 5 минут.

BYD Tang L / Atto 8 станет одной из ключевых моделей бренда в сегменте крупных SUV.
