Zeekr 9X: a new premium plug-in hybrid SUV hits the market

The Zeekr 9X is the first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) in the history of Geely’s premium brand. This full-size crossover combines luxurious design, cutting-edge technology, and outstanding performance. Mass production began at a factory in China ahead of the official sales launch on September 29, 2025.

Record-breaking pre-orders and high popularity

Pre-sales of the Zeekr 9X began on August 29, and within the first hour, the company received 43,000 orders. This makes the new SUV a direct competitor to the Li L9, Aito M9, and other premium SUVs on the Chinese market.

Design and Dimensions of the Zeekr 9X

The crossover features a modern and aggressive exterior:

• Length: 5,239 mm

• width — 2,029 mm

• height — 1,819 mm

• Wheelbase: 3,169 mm

Five body colors are available: black, white, silver, gray, and purple. Features include a two-section panoramic roof, a LiDAR sensor, a massive radiator grille, and 22-inch wheels.

Interior and Technology

The Zeekr 9X cabin is configured for six passengers (2+2+2). Three interior color schemes are available: dark blue, beige, and brown.
Key interior features include:

• a digital dashboard with two 16-inch screens

• a 47-inch AR projection display

• a 17-inch overhead screen for second-row passengers

• a Naim audio system with 32 speakers (optional).

Zeekr 9X Technical Specifications

The model is available in three versions:

• Zeekr 9X Max — 660 kW (885 l.s.), 55 kWh battery, 0–100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.

• Zeekr 9X Ultra — same 660 kW, but with an optional 70 kWh battery and enhanced comfort features.

• Zeekr 9X Hyper — 1,030 kW (1,381 PS), 70 kWh battery, 0–100 km/h in 3.1 seconds.

The combined-cycle range reaches up to 1,200 km, making the Zeekr 9X one of the premium hybrids with the longest range.
