Xiaomi released official images of its new car—the YU7 crossover—today. The vehicle is styled after the SU7 sedan, but its appearance bears a striking resemblance to the Ferrari Purosangue. From a distance, these models could easily be confused with one another.


No one in China expected the official images of the car to be released this early, but this may be due to the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology publishing real-life photos of the new model. At the same time, the specifications were revealed: the Xiaomi YU7 measures 4,999 x 1,996 x 1,600 mm, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm.


A 299-l.s. motor is mounted on the front axle, while the motor on the rear axle delivers 392 l.s. The total system output is 691 l.s. The official debut of the new model will take place in June or July of next year.
