The new Zeekr 001 2026: a record 7-minute charge and a range of up to 762 km

The Zeekr 001 electric vehicle features a 95 kWh battery and 1,140 kW charging capability
The Chinese premium brand Zeekr, owned by Geely Automobile, has unveiled the updated 2026 Zeekr 001, which has become the world’s fastest-charging electric vehicle.
The model features a new 900-volt architecture and a state-of-the-art battery that allows it to charge from 10% to 80% in just 7 minutes.
This was reported by Carscoops.
The Zeekr 001 2026 is the new record-holder for charging speed
The main feature of this new model is support for megawatt charging with a power output of up to 1,140 kW.
By comparison, most modern electric vehicles are limited to 250–350 kW, while some premium models reach a maximum of 800 kW.
Thanks to this technology, charging to 80% takes just 7 minutes, making the Zeekr 001 faster even than the Tesla Model S Plaid and Porsche Taycan Turbo S.
Charging time is now comparable to that of a conventional gasoline-powered car.
