The first production flying car, the AirCar 2, goes on sale in 2026: priced from $800,000

Slovakian company Klein Vision has officially unveiled the AirCar 2—an innovative, next-generation flying car capable of traveling both on roads and in the air. Mass production is scheduled to begin in September 2026, and the price of the world’s first flying car will range from $800,000 to $1 million.

Innovations and Certification
The AirCar 2 received a certificate of airworthiness from the Slovak Transport Bureau after more than 500 successful test flights. Its unique design allows the vehicle to be operated without the need to learn how to fly—the car’s steering wheel automatically transforms into a control yoke.
“You simply drive up to the runway, press a button—and the car turns into an airplane,” the developers note.
Production Plans and Availability
Klein Vision plans to produce up to 100 flying cars per year, targeting the premium segment of the high-tech and innovative transportation market.
