Comparing the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E with its rivals

It has long been known that the Mustang's main rivals were brands such as Dodge and Chevrolet. Now, however, the Mach-E is moving to a new level and competing with Audi, Mercedes, Polestar, Jaguar and Hyundai.

The Mustang Mach-E will offer various battery sizes with different power outputs, ranges and drivetrain types. Its price makes it an attractive offering in a segment dominated by luxury players.

Another rival to the Mach-E is the Tesla Model Y. However, most of the Model Y's specs are still under wraps. All that's known is that the range is 370-482 km. The car can have rear- or all-wheel drive. It accelerates to 96 km/h in 3.5-5.9 seconds. The top speed is 193-241 km/h, and the price is $40,200 - $61,000. In all these parameters the Model Y is very close to the figures of the new Mustang. But some of the Mach-E's specs may change before production begins, including its impressive performance figures.
