Top 10 most popular used cars up to 5 years old in Ukraine: electric cars lead

According to data from “Ukravtoprom,” in May 2025, 6,200 used passenger cars less than 5 years old, imported from abroad, were registered in Ukraine. This accounts for 28% of the total number of imported used cars for that month (22,000 vehicles in total).

Analysis shows that electric vehicles are in the highest demand in the under-5-years segment—they accounted for 46% of imports. They are followed by gasoline-powered cars (36%), hybrids (10%), diesel cars (6%), and LPG-powered cars (2%).

The steady interest in electric vehicles and hybrids indicates that Ukrainians are steadily transitioning to more fuel-efficient and eco-friendly solutions. Tesla, KIA, and Nissan are particularly popular—thanks to their favorable balance of price, range, and technical specifications.
