BYD has produced 9 million new-energy vehicles and currently builds 12,000 cars a day. The company keeps ramping up production.
BYD officially announced the production of its 9-millionth new energy vehicle (NEV), which was the BYD Yangwang U9 supercar.
It is noteworthy that the 7-millionth vehicle rolled off the assembly line on March 25, and just over three months later, in early July, the 8-millionth vehicle was produced. On average, the company produced about 300,000 vehicles per month, which amounts to approximately 10,000 vehicles per day.

Officials reported that just over two months had passed since the production of the 8-millionth vehicle, indicating a further acceleration in production. The company is currently producing 12,040 vehicles per day (excluding weekends).
