Легендарный Jeep будет продавать в Европе только гибриды и электрокары

Компания Jeep объявила, что полностью переходит на производство электрических моделей для реализации в Европе. Для рынка США пока сохранятся традиционные внедорожники и кроссоверы с двигателями внутреннего сгорания.

Об этом решении недавно объявило руководство концерна Stellantis, которому принадлежит бренд Jeep. Злые языки уже начали злорадствовать о том, что этого и следовало ожидать, ведь продажа исконно американских брендов итальянцам из Фиата должна была сказаться на модельном ряде.

Но не стоит понимать руководство концерна Stellantis буквально. Говоря о электрокарах, они имели ввиду не только их, но и гибриды. Например, первая волна новшеств и «атака» американских моделей Jeep на европейский континент запланирована с двумя гибридами Compass и Renegade в разных комплектациях.

Кстати, генеральный директор Stellantis вовсе не является поклонником полной унификации производства и превращения всех брендов (коих под патронажем концерна много) в единую безликую массу с разными значками.

Наоборот, Карлос Таварес старается сохранить все бренды, и даже планирует возродить те из них, которые оказались не у дел. И каждая марка, по мнению генерального директора Stellantis, должна сохранить свою индивидуальность.

Не является Карлос Таварес и поклонников электрификации. Он уже неоднократно высказывался с сожалением о том, что Европа планирует полностью отказаться от производства автомобилей с традиционными ДВС.

В тандеме с ДВС работает электромотор с мощностью в 20 л. с, который способен работать отдельно от бензинового силового агрегата. Конечно, ждать каких-то выдающих характеристик динамики и максимального пробега на одной зарядке не стоит, но это же гибрид – он работает в тандеме с ДВС.

Главная задача таких силовых установок – это экономия топлива за счёт совместной работы двигателей в различных режимах. Если передвигаться в режиме экономии, то основная нагрузка будет приходиться на электромотор.
