Brabus has unveiled a new convertible based on the Mercedes G-Class: 800 forces, a bold design, and a limited edition

The legendary Mercedes G-Class convertible is making a comeback, but not thanks to Mercedes-Benz.
The new open-top version was developed by the Brabus tuning house, which created the unique Brabus 800 Cabrio and its off-road variant, the Brabus XLP800 Cabrio. The model features a completely redesigned body, a powerful twin-turbo V8 engine, and exclusive interior trim.
The Revival of the G-Class Convertible: How Brabus Created the New 800 Cabrio
Brabus used the Mercedes-AMG G63 as a base and completely redesigned the body architecture.
The hardtop was removed from the SUV and replaced with a soft folding top mounted on a carbon-fiber frame. An electric mechanism allows the fabric roof to be folded down in 20 seconds.
This is the first “Geländewagen” convertible in recent years, and it’s designed in the traditional Brabus style—aggressive, as rugged as possible, and geared toward the premium segment.

Design and Features: Carbon Fiber, High-Performance Wheels, and Adjustable Suspension
The Brabus 800 Cabrio features:
-
a signature Brabus radiator grille
-
a carbon-fiber hood and body kit
-
wheel arch extensions
-
sporty trim around the body
-
standard 24-inch wheels
The interior is trimmed with high-quality leather and carbon fiber panels.
Standard equipment includes an adjustable suspension with adjustable ground clearance.

The off-road version of the Brabus XLP800 Cabrio: portal axles and increased ground clearance
The Brabus XLP800 Cabrio was created for fans of extreme off-roading.
It features:
-

22-inch off-road tires
