Voyah has unveiled an electric SUV with a 901 km range
The Voyah Zhiyin made its debut on August 5. Four versions of the car are available, but prices have not yet been disclosed. This is Voyah’s first model developed as a global vehicle, and it underscores the brand’s ambition to enter new markets overseas.
The Voyah Zhiyin, available exclusively as an EV, is based on the Dongfeng Electric Smart Secure Architecture (ESSA) and will be equipped with the new-generation “Lanhai Power-BEV.” It is the fourth model from the Voyah brand, continuing the family-style design. Notably, it features full-width light bars at both the front and rear. At the front, they are integrated with the Voyah logo.
Strangely, the rear wheels have black trim around them, while the front ones do not. There is also a noticeable element resembling a shark fin that cuts into the D-pillar. The Zhiyin has a black roof above the window line, as well as a roof rack. There is a fairly large rear bumper, but at the same time, the trunk lid appears quite high.
The Voyah Zhiyin measures 4,725, 1,900, and 1,636 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. The curb weights of the different versions are 2,099, 2,145, and 2,227 kg.

At first glance, it might seem that the interior features only a large infotainment screen on the dashboard. However, there is a small instrument cluster integrated into the air vents, as well as a display projected onto the windshield. The Zhiyin features frameless doors and plenty of leather. The car is expected to be equipped with an intelligent cockpit and Huawei’s intelligent driving system.

Versions with one or two motors are available. Rear-wheel-drive versions offer a choice of 215- or 230-kW electric motors. The single-motor version, equipped with a 77 kWh battery, has a range of 625 km, while the long-range version has a range of 901 km thanks to a 109 kWh battery. The dual-motor version features a 160-kW electric motor on both the front and rear axles. It is equipped with a 77 kWh battery pack, which provides a range of 570 km—all ranges are calculated using the CLTC cycle. The Voyah Zhiyin uses a platform with an 800-volt architecture and supports 5C charging. This means that in 15 minutes, the car can increase its range by up to 515 km. Presumably, this applies to vehicles with higher-capacity battery packs.

The new vehicle is a key part of the “Let’s Voyah” strategy, which aims to have the brand sold in 60 countries across six continents by 2030, with annual sales of 500,000 units. It is also the brand’s first SUV with a more traditional exterior design. Deliveries to China are expected to begin before the end of the year.
